I really enjoyed your insights on the story had why you wrote things the way you did, so I read the entire authors notes. I have a lot to say, but this is the second time I'm retyping this due to the page dying on me -.-
Anyways, no one should ever have to go through any horrors in their life, and the people who do and live through it, I find to be someone to definitively look up to. They're strong and they didn't deserve it, no one does.
I'm aware that the whole thing since the beginning was like Stockholm Syndrome, but like you said...Draco was vulnerable and he needed someone too. And it just so happened that it was Harry, who was ironically the very person he "hated" in his earlier years. How I see it, people always need someone or something to blame it on, and Harry was always the one that got to him, so he blamed it on him. That was until he realized how he was so similar to Draco in so many ways (broken and missing something inside, due to the deaths & horrors they had known).
Love is a strong thing...and so is the message in this story. I love the way you make it so clear to "never give up no matter what happens" because the possibility for a better future and moving on is always there. But the person has to want and will it too. It's just like when Harry was on the edge of dying when he was hurt and all he wanted to do was sleep, but he fought it down and stayed alive--for Draco. And Draco too, when all he wanted was to die, but he believed that he had to stay alive for Harry.
Though, I have to say people in general are disgusting by nature. People are so fucked up, it's the reason why I hate people in general.
And I just want you to know that you made me feel immensely better after finishing the story about...a lot of things. When in doubt, I'll remember this--for sure. This will be something that I'll remember for a very long time to come and I'm so glad I decided to read it all--despite all the horrors. So thanks for the phenomenon piece of writing and the strong message in this. Xx

*sighs happily* This story is so perfect, and I love it so much. Despite all the disturbing parts...this story is still unbelievably amazing. I literally cringed inwardly when I was reading all the...scenes..., but I kept telling myself that it would get better, and of course it does. This ending is so cute and I can't even begin to describe how perfect they are together. Draco, Harry, Mark. I love it...and the lyrics to that song is beautiful (I'm listening to it now & I love the song too).
I forgot to mention this earlier, but I'm so glad that Percy is alive. He came around in the end of the war, so I liked him for that...and he's the only Weasley alive in this story, I think. :[ I would've liked to see what happens to everyone else and them, considering the war was over. And ah yeah, I would love to read a sequel to this if you guys ever plan it, for after following them for so long on their hard journey to finally reach the end, it's sad to see it end.
I've spent like all of today and most of yesterday reading your stories, lol. If only there was more time in the day I would gladly sit here and read all of your stories, but for now I'll have to take them on one by one. I adore your guys' writing, apparently--no matter how dark it is. Well I suppose it's all good as long as there's a happy ending to it all, Lol.

Yes finally, the deserve this all of this. And when did I begin to love Mark too? Ha ha, good question. And Harry really does miracles with healing. *smirks* I love that he heals them even though it drains all his energy and then he ends up losing conscious, but in turn Draco & Mark are there for him, like he was there for him when they were hurt. :')
And I just love how priceless it was when Mark was like "You're both rich?" And Draco was like: Draco Malfoy is bloody rich! Hell, do I love this story.

I'm so relived and I don't think I've ever smiled so much even though I knew they would be okay in the end. I think it was when Harry did his amazing impossible magic over Draco that...that was so touching. And Mark really isn't just a muggle, he's a special one that knows all about them now.

It was so interesting to see the author's perspective on the story. The story itself was also very intriguing, though I only skimmed through the violent scenes... I felt so bad for them :( I would love to read a sequel but then again like you said it would mean the characters would face difficulties once more. Sigh... dilemma :) Loved the story!
Author's Response: I am glad you enjoyed reading. Author's notes are an indulgence I don't do often, but am glad when readers like them. I don't know if there will be more in this specific timeline, but luckily, we have loads of other stories to tell.

I am once again in love with your writing style. You captured the characters in this story beautifully and i found myself completely intertwined with the plot and the emotional struggles each person faced. I am very glad that you did this sequel and it definitely lived up to my expectations after reading Shooting Star. I love the use of symbolism throughout the story and all of the overlapping elements. This was a very moving set of novels and I think you ended them perfectly.
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I'm very glad you liked it. It's nice to hear when readers appreciate the details. This set of stories is so dark they aren't the favourites of readers but I do love them.

It is interesting to read a detailed account of an authors view on their story. I am intrigued that Draco and Harry are written by two different people, yet the writing styles are the same. The one major issue I have with the story in general was there was no indication when the point of view was going to change between characters.
Author's Response: Thanks. The style of writing is a limited 3rd person dual-POV. We tend to use paragraph changes and other things to cue the shift of POV. It can be difficult but we like the way it allows for both authors to speak in the story.

And Shelton.... a new character that died before we, the readers, got to know him. For all that, he oddly enough reminds me Anakin Skywalker /Darth Vader. The redemption of a mistake made earlier in his life.
